Greetings
and welcome to my genealogy site... The
primary purpose for this site is for a reference point for my family
(in New Zealand), their descendants and also for anyone else who is
interested in the MCGHIE
name. Although there are many MCGHIE's
around the world, there has been some difficulty tracing my ancestors
past these shores. From what I can tell at this stage, there were two
different MCGHIE
families that came to New Zealand, unfortunately there is no link between
the two that I can currently find. It appears my side came from Paisley in
Scotland (GEORGE MCGHIE) so I'm currently researching that avenue.
Any help is always appreciated...
